The gravelly loam soils and Mediterranean climate of Manjmup, Western Australia lends itself perfectly to ripen Merlot.  This small batch Merlot shows classic varietal traits of dark plum, fruit cake spice, choc mint and dried herbs.  Subtle French oak offers sweet cedar and vanillan dust complexity.  The palate delivers sweet supple fruit balanced by fine powdery tannins.

Egg whites were used as a fining agent and traces may remain.
