Wignalls Wines

Wignalls Wines is a pioneering family winery founded in 1982 by Dr Bill Wignall, situated in Albany, the southern subregion of Western Australia’s Great Southern. After detailed climatic research, the founder discovered Albany’s growing conditions closely mirror those of Burgundy, making it ideal for cool-climate varieties including Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

Now run by the second generation of the Wignall family, the estate maintains its original vineyard and on-site winery. It has earned more than 50 gold medals and trophies across international wine competitions. Famous as one of Western Australia’s oldest Pinot Noir producers, Wignalls crafts refined, aromatic wines that fully express the unique cool maritime terroir of Albany.
